PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: 15 October 2026.

Who is responsible?

Tiny Planet Run is provided by Udi Talias. This policy covers the iOS game and tinyplanetrun.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact tinyplanetrun@gmail.com.

Game progress stays on your device

The game stores progress, best scores, earned gems, unlocked characters and worlds, missions, and preferences in local app storage. We do not operate a player-account service or upload this save file to our own servers. Apple may include app data in device backups according to your settings. Reset Progress removes local game progress; notification preferences and advertising privacy choices are managed separately.

Apple Game Center

The adventure works without Game Center. If you are signed in, the game can submit eligible scores to Apple’s leaderboards. Scores may be visible with your Game Center profile. Apple handles this information under its own policies. Manage Game Center in your Apple device settings, and read Apple’s Game Center privacy information.

Optional reminders

On first launch, the game asks iOS for notification permission. With permission, it schedules local reminders using recent activity, discovered characters and worlds, and mission progress. Reminder preferences and scheduling counters are stored on your device. The game does not send notification tokens or reminder activity to our own server.

Turn reminders off in the game’s Settings to cancel pending local reminders. Use iOS Settings to change system permission, including after declining the first request. Resetting game progress preserves your notification choices.

Sharing a picture

If you choose to share a homecoming picture, the game captures its own screen and opens Apple’s share sheet. Your selected destination handles the image under its own terms and privacy policy. The game does not upload the picture to our servers or request access to read your photo library. Saving a picture uses Apple’s system controls.

Optional rewarded advertising

Versions with advertising enabled use Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads) and Google’s User Messaging Platform to provide an optional rewarded ad. Choosing Watch Ad & Continue and completing the ad can let you continue an eligible run once. You can choose Finish Run instead. Versions with this feature disabled do not initialize our advertising integration.

When the feature is enabled, Google’s privacy service checks the applicable privacy requirements, and the advertising SDK may preload an ad before you choose to watch it. Choosing not to watch does not, by itself, prevent all SDK network processing. An ad is displayed only after your choice; ad requests require Google’s privacy platform to allow them.

Depending on configuration and your choices, Google’s SDK may process:

Google processes this information to deliver and measure ads, operate and improve its services, diagnose problems, and help prevent fraud. Non-personalized advertising can still involve data processing and local SDK storage. We do not send Google our local game save or support messages. This feature does not request permission to track across other companies’ apps and websites, read contacts, or access precise device location. We do not include a separate third-party gameplay analytics SDK.

The current advertising configuration treats all requests as child-directed, limits requested ad content to Google’s G rating, and disables publisher personalization and publisher first-party ID. We do not include additional advertising networks through mediation. These settings do not mean that Google receives no technical information.

For more information, read How Google uses information from apps that use its services, Google’s Privacy Policy, and Google Mobile Ads’ iOS data disclosures.

Advertising privacy choices

Where applicable, Google’s privacy interface provides choices before ad requests are allowed. An Ad privacy choices entry appears in the game’s Settings when Google’s platform requires it, so you can revisit those choices. Google may store privacy selections on your device. Reset Progress is not a way to withdraw advertising consent. The choices available depend on your region, age treatment, and the enabled services.

This website

The public website is delivered through Cloudflare. Its code does not include advertising, a third-party audience analytics script, a newsletter, a contact form, or non-essential cookies. Images, fonts, and scripts are served with the site. No website account or OpenAI sign-in is required.

Cloudflare processes technical requests to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the website. This can include IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, browser or device request information, and network or security events. Request logs and service metrics may be available to us in the hosting dashboard. Hosting-level processing is separate from an audience tracking script in the site. Cloudflare’s processing and retention depend on the service and its settings; see Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Contacting support

If you email us, we receive your address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer and manage your request. We use Gmail, provided by Google, to receive and store support correspondence. Google processes these messages under the applicable service terms and Google’s Privacy Policy. Do not send passwords, payment details, or unnecessary personal information.

Children and families

The game has a broad audience, including children. It does not ask players for a name, email address, date of birth, or separate game account, and it has no in-game chat or player messaging. This does not mean that no technical data is processed: the advertising and hosting processing described above still applies when those services are used. The current advertising configuration applies child-directed treatment to every player rather than asking for an age.

Parents and guardians can manage notifications and Game Center through Apple’s controls. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support, contact us to request review or deletion, subject to applicable obligations.

Retention and international processing

Local progress remains on your device until it is reset or app data is removed, subject to any backups. We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to answer requests and meet operational or legal obligations. Technical hosting records are retained according to the hosting service’s settings and requirements. Google and Apple control retention for information they process through their own services; see their linked policies.

Our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Their linked policies describe their processing locations and applicable transfer protections. Contact us with questions about information handled for this game or website.

Your choices and requests

You can reset local game progress, control notifications and Game Center on your device, and revisit advertising privacy choices where available. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Withdrawal does not change the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Send requests to tinyplanetrun@gmail.com. We may need enough information to verify and respond to a request; do not send identity documents unless requested through an appropriate process. We can address information we hold or control, and help direct requests involving Google or Apple to the appropriate service. We cannot retrieve a local save file that was never sent to us. Mandatory privacy rights remain available.

Changes

We will publish updates here with a revised date when the game, website, or data processing changes. Where additional notice or consent is required, we will provide it before introducing the relevant processing.
